Pixie

Former Vancouverite and now traveling model Pixie reached out to me recently before she came home to Vancouver for a visit and I couldn’t miss the opportunity to work with her again, seven+ years after our last shoot together. And as expected, she was great; arriving at my home studio with a great attitude, tons of posing ideas and ready to play. As a travelling model she has loads of experience styling herself (hair and makeup + wardrobe) but on this shoot, I provided the bulk of wardrobe styling.

Working in a simple black-on-black “colourless” palette, I focused the wardrobe looks on texture and a mix of fetish-y + ballerina looks and accessories that played well together. I was even able to mix in my prized, movie worn, laser-cut leather “Akira” corset from John Wick Chapter 4 (I have the certificate of authenticity from a recent PropStore Auction). We shot six looks in total in about 2.5 hours.

Now that I’m deep into the editing stage, I thought I would share a few teasers until the complete set is released and published… Stay tuned for more, coming soon!
