At ODDS

In the words of the designer of this bespoke collection, Katherine Soucie-Douglas, "We are AT ODDS with the current fashion industry and this editorial aims to reflect on fashion's relationship with nature."

The collection in this editorial set is a direct response to the essential role trees play in our ecosystem and the impact of the ongoing wildfires on the systems that allow us to breathe and live on this planet. All garments in this collection are made from recycled / upscaled material waste from the luxury sock industry. The designer creates NEW textiles using this waste and prevents many hundreds of pounds of waste from ending up in landfills. She is currently working on her PHD in the UK based on this ethos.
